Miamitown Pet Hospital was started in 1985 by Dr. Michael Frederick as a practice treating both large and small animals.  The practice has since grown and specialized into separate large and small animal businesses: Miamitown Pet Hospital and Miamitown Equine Veterinary Services. Dr. Anna Hood joined the practice in 2016 and started Miamitown Equine Veterinary Services in 2017 to serve the equine clientele and provide specialized service for horses.
